Kari Burba is an attorney with the Flint law firm of Simen, Figura & Parker, located in the Gateway Centre
on Hill Road. Her areas of practice include landlord tenant, municipal law, general business transactions and
civil litigation. On behalf of Simen, Figura & Parker, she represents the village of Holly, the city of Swartz
Creek, the township of Richfield, the township of Gaines and the township of Montrose in various civil matters
as well as ordinance enforcement. In addition to municipal clients, she represents various local businesses
including the Genesee Valley Center. Prior to working at Simen, Figura & Parker, Ms. Burba clerked for
the Honorable Joseph J. Farah at the 7th Circuit Court for the County of Genesee. She is a graduate of the
Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University and Olivet Nazarene University located in Kankakee,
Illinois.
